Description

THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. The purpose of this second amendment is to answer additional questions in reference to the sources sought synopsis. The due date for receipt of information is not changed. 7. Question: In the response to question 5 of the April 3, 2008 amendment, SSP states: "Contractors should not assume a restriction to the existing SSBN CONOPS and covertness." For further clarification, does a requirement still exist for the ESGN Alternative system to meet current system performance accuracy at the maximum fix/reset interval to support United Kingdom operations? Must the ESGN Alternative System meet accuracy requirements based upon the operational philosophy related to position and velocity fix-taking nowemployed in the United Kingdom? Answer: This is a Request for Information (RFI) only and not a proposal. SSP wishes to explore all alternatives. You may note your concerns in your response to the RFI.
