Description

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) intends to make a non-competitive award to consultant Ms. Sara Lubinski in Brownsville, MN in support of a cooperative effort between USGS and the National Park Service for scientific assessment and analyses for the Vegetation Mapping Program. Services are to be delivered to USGS, 2630 Fanta Reed Road, La Crosse, WI by 04/20/2009. Two option years will be included. Ms. Lubinski is the only known source for this requirement because she is the developer of the accuracy assessment procedure used for vegetation mapping in the Great Lakes National Park Network. The consistency in data analysis that will be provided by Ms. Lubinski is paramount to the success of the Vegetation Mapping. In accordance with FAR 5.207, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency, however, THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1).
