Description

This posting is to satisfy the publication requirements for Brand Name Justifications and is for information purpose only. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The Headquarters, Air Mobility Command (AMC), Communications Program Division (A6), Scott AFB, IL, has a requirement for the purchase and installation of brand name synchronous optical network node in Building 31 at Travis AFB, CA. The requirement identified the need for manufacturer specific equipment. General Services Administration, Federal Acquisition Service, Assisted Acquisition Services located at 1710 Corporate Crossing, Suite 3, O’Fallon, IL 62269, issued a solicitation to all the prime contractors on the Air Force Network Centric Solutions (NETCENTS) MAIDIQ Contract. The solicitation was issued on 16 April 2008 via the GSA Information Technology Solution (ITSS) procurement portal. The closing date for quotes is 28 May 2008. The Statement of Work, Proposal Submission Instructions and other documents are only available to the prime NETCENTS contractors via GSA ITSS.
