- The U.S. Department of Labor is seeking firms for a project in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. We are looking for firms that qualify under the Small Business Programs mentioned in Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 19 and can bond a project up to $30,000,000. When submitting your response, please indicate under which programs you meet the criteria. This project is to construct a new Job Corps Center. The Contractor will provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials, supervision and all incidentals necessary to construct this new center. The center will include a Welcome Center (1,427 GSF), Administration/Wellness Center (11,735 GSF), Student Services Center (9,658 GSF), Educational/Vocational Center (42,492 GSF), Kitchen/Cafeteria/Warehouse Facility (13,973 GSF), two 2-story Dormitory Buildings (55,282 GSF), and a Recreational/Gymnasium Facility (21,035 GSF). The project also includes site development of an approximately 25 acres site including utility installations, site/security, lighting, sidewalks/walkways, roadways, parking areas and landscaping. Cost range is between $10,000,000.00 and $30,000,000.00. NAICS code 236220, size standard $31.0 million. Place of Performance is location in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The proposed solicitation for this work is planned for issuing sometime in July 2008 and awarding in October 2008. Firms having the skills, qualifications and capabilities to perform this work are invited to provide information to contribute to this market survey effort to assist in planning for the method of procurement. Construction Experience as a Prime Contractor for Similar Size Projects and Complexity, 8. Demonstration of Capability of Performing the Work with their own forces.
