- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs, 508 Fulton Street, Durham, North Carolina has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, material, equipment, supplies, transportation, permits, license and qualified supervision for Project 558-08-115, Upgrade Animal Research HVAC, at the Durham VA Medical Center, Durham, North Carolina. The work will consist of demolition, installing a new rooftop air handling unit, ductwork, structural steel, ceiling work and other associated items. Work will be performed in accordance with the drawings and specifications. All work performed must meet all applicable codes and regulations and be accomplished in strict accordance with the contract drawings and specifications. Estimated construction cost is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. This is a Service Disabled Veterans Owned Small Business Set-Aside. Bidding material/drawings will be available on/about May 12, 2008. Amendments/notices, if any, will be posted to the web. The web will be the only method of distributing the solicitation. It is the bidders responsibility to check the web site periodically for any amendments/notices to the solicitation. Location and points of contact for site visits will be identified in the solicitation.
