Description

SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS: This notice is for market research purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Quote, Request for Proposal or Invitation for Bid; and, it is not considered to be a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited: no basis for claim against the Government shall arise as a result from a response to this Sources Sought or Government use of any information provided. The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) is conducting market research to determine a business source for its enterprise level Administrative Desktop Computers requirement. The intent of this notice is to gather industry input on NGA's possible upcoming NGA Administrative Desktop Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) acquisition. Input is especially valued from Small Business Authorized Resellers Only, Small Business, Women-Owned Business, Veteran-Owned Small Business and Combination and Small HubZone 8(a) Companies performing only in the United States. NGA intends to award a Blanket Purchase Agreement for this requirement. The purpose of this Sources Sought Synopsis is to determine if there are any businesses who are capable of providing the NGA Administrative Desktop configuration. The period of performance for this Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) acquisition is five (5) years. This Sources Sought Synopsis is in support of market research being conducted by NGA to identify capable potential sources The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is NAICS, 432430 and the small business size standard is 100 employees. Interested offerors should submit a capability statement demonstrating how they plan to meet the requirements as stated in the posted Draft Statement of Work entitled “NGA Administrative Desktop Computer” dated April 17, 2008. Submitted capability statements shall include the following: 1) Name of contractor 2) Contact Information (address, telephone, fax, email address), 3) Technical description of capabilities in meeting the requirements 4) Previous experiences in meeting these requirements 5) A notional cost estimate of providing bulk administrative desktop purchases of 3,000 units at one time 6) Product literature; and 7) Business size and classification (small, large, Small Business Authorized Resellers Only, Small Business, Women-Owned Business, Veteran-Owned Small Business and Combination and Small HubZone 8(a) Companies, etc.) 8) Federal Supply Schedule (example: General Services Administration’s contract number) contract number Interested offerors are encouraged to submit questions or comments pertaining to the Draft SOW entitled “NGA Administrative Desktop Computer” dated April 17, 2008.
