- Description
- This is a notice of intent that WR-ALC anticipates issuing a indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity firm fixed price contract for the procurement of Frequency Standards, NSN: 6625-01-548-8262, P/N: 4211A-MOPS and the procurement of Frequency References NSN: 6625-01-548-8261, P/N: 1203C with a best estimated quantity of 8 each. Also with one, One-Year ordering period with a best estimated quantity of 15 each. The end item for this equipment is used on the COMMON application. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Precise Time and Frequency, Inc. under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested person(s) may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Only one source "Precise Time and Frequency" (CAGE Code: 3ENZ4). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All proposals received within the twenty two days after issuance of solicitation, or 22 days after the publication date of this synopsis will be considered. OMBUDSMAN: All potential offeror(s) should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If the contracting officer does not satisfy your concerns, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate serous contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. When appropriate, potential offeror(s) may contact Ombudsman Alan Mathis at 478-926-4028.
