- Release Date : 17-Apr-08 Notice : IDW-08-03 Issuing Agency Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) Description The FBI OCTO has a requirement to provide ongoing Operations & Maintenance (O&M) and other support services to the Information Data Warehouse (IDW) Program. The IDW Program is currently an operational program supported through an interagency agreement with the Space and Naval Warfare Systems (SPAWAR) - Charleston. The FBI desires to contract directly with industry for future IDW support and anticipates the release of a Task Order Request via the Army's Information Technology Enterprise Solutions (ITES 2S) Contract on or about July 1, 2008. Responses to the Task Order Request will be due on or about July 31, 2008, and work is anticipated to begin on or about September 1, 2008. The FBI further anticipates a Task Order comprised of both Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Cost Reimbursable (such as Cost Plus Award Fee - CPAF) line items. The O&M component of the IDW support will include items such as managing; monitoring and administering both applications and databases, managing recurring data ingest procedures, problem management and resolution, hardware and software upgrades, documentation of operating procedures minor enhancements, as well as the integration and testing of these minor enhancements. Other components of the anticipated IDW support requirements include system engineering, user training, hardware and software acquisition, and the incorporation of additional data sets into the IDW operational environment.
