This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-24 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. THIS NOTICE AND ITS REFERENCES CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; All responsible offers submitted in accordance with the terms of this document will be considered for award. The NAICS code for these supplies is 336391 - Air-conditioners, motor vehicle, manufacturing, Manufacturing /size standard of 750 employees applies. The DO rating for this requirement is DO-A4. A firm-fixed-price purchase order awarded in accordance with procedures outlined in FAR Subparts 13 and 13.5 is the anticipated result of this effort. The government reserves the right to make one, multiple, or no awards resulting from this solicitation. The A/C Kits! destination is Marine Corps Logistics Command, Maintenance Center Albany, GA 31704. CLIN 0001: One (1) each Marine Corps Logistics Vehicle System (LVS / MK48) A/C kit. The kit is to be fabricated, packaged, and marked in accordance with the Statement of Work attached to this document. The Technical Data Package can be accessed at the website address - http://www.logcom.usmc.mil/contracts/solicit/. CLIN 0001 inspection and acceptance by the Government must be accomplished prior to receiving approval to proceed with the production of CLIN 0002. Any and all discrepancies found in the first kit must be corrected within ten (10) working days of notification. Failure to do so may result in the deletion of CLIN 0002 from the contract. CLIN 0002: Two hundred, forty-seven (247) each Marine Corps Logistics Vehicle System (LVS / MK48) A/C kits. The contractor shall not proceed with performance of this CLIN without Government acceptance of CLIN 0001 and written approval to proceed ! to CLIN 0002.
