Description
The Naval Sea Logistics Center (NSLC) is issuing this Sources Sought announcement as part of a market survey. NSLC is seeking vendors to provide software tool/tools to allow the Navy to track tag-outs in performance of routine and emergent maintenance actions on board naval vessels and shore activities. The product must support the total application life-cycle, from requirements management through product deployment. (See attached document) INFORMATION TO BE SUBMITTED: ONLY RESPONSES SUBMITTED VIA E-MAIL WILL BE CONSIDERED. Initial submissions are required COB, 30 April 2008. Naval Sea Logistics Center, Mechanicsburg Pa. is interested in receiving white papers which describe how the proposed solution will meet the Navys need to supply a web-based solution to manage tag-outs both on ships and on shore. Interested vendors should respond by providing the Government with the following information: (1) Vendor business name and address(2) Point of contact and email address(3) Telephone and fax numbers(4) A brief summary of the company's capabilities, description of facilities, personnel, and related experience. (5) The white paper should be no longer than 30 pages, single sided, single spaced at no less than a 10 point font. This Sources Sought is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not consitute a solicitation, a Request for Quote (RFQ), or a Request for Proposal (RFP) and it should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the Government to issue a formal solicitation or ultimately award a contract. The U.S. Government is in no way liable to pay for or reimburse any companies or entities that respond to this announcement. Any costs incurred by interested companies in response to this announcement will NOT be reimbursed. All information marked as proprietary information will be safeguarded to prevent disclosures to non-government personnel and entities.
