Description

THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE. IT IS ANTICIPATED THAT THE SOLICITATION WILL BE POSTED ON OR ABOUT 19 May 08. The Government intends to award up to two Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) construction contracts with a base period of performance of one year followed by four one-year option periods. The Government will award construction projects via Delivery Order on an as-needed basis. The contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to design, manage, and accomplish a broad range of maintenance, repair, alteration, and/or new construction work on various roadways, parking lots, driveways, sidewalks, and similar items. All work shall be performed at Offutt AFB, Nebraska, to include the Elkhorn and Scribner Communications Sites. The above description of work is for the purpose of general information only and is not intended to include and describe every feature or item of work or to define the scope of work. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation either before or after the closing date. The estimated magnitude of this project, to include option periods, is more than $10,000,000. The applicable NAICS for this acquisition is 237310 with a small business size standard of $31,000,000. This acquisition is a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Only qualified SDVOSB businesses are eligible to compete for this contract. All other firms are deemed ineligible to submit offers. The solicitation must be downloaded from www.fedbizopps.gov. No paper copies will be issued. All solicitation documents and amendments will be available in electronic format. Interested firms are reminded that IAW DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration, firms must be registered to be eligible for award. Registration can be obtained by accessing www.ccr.gov. Any interested parties must also complete the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA), which can be accessed at orca.bpn.gov. The estimated release date of the solicitation is on or about 19 May 08. A site visit will be conducted appproximately two (2) weeks after the solicitation issue date. Vendors should monitor this website for additional information, changes and/or updates.
