- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with the Boeing Company for the acquisition of two (2) units of the Reference Standard Set (P/N: 74D110175-1001) for the EA-18G Nose Radome Inspection. This Reference Standards Set consists of three honeycomb composite assemblies and two solid composite laminate assemblies ass stored in a case. The asemblies simulate crushed core, excessive adhesive, disbonds, delaminations and various skin thicknesses. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own current data, drawings, or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
