- This announcement is notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Note 22 as a follow-on action. Description: The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice is to meet the requirement is to fulfill the Groundwater Monitoring Program requirements of Compliance Plan No. CP-50292. Wells shall be sampled according to the Sampling and Analysis Plan dated (May 27, 1997) Revision 3, August 9, 2006. The Contractor shall furnish all services, materials, supplies, labor, equipment, investigations, studies, superintendence, and travel, as required, for groundwater sampling at the Western Inactive Sanitary Landfill (WISL), Lone Star Army Ammunition Plant (LSAAP), Texas. The requirement will be issued to the contractor listed above as a follow-on contact as the original work for this requirement was award to them. The period of performance is approximately until February 2009. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to meet the governments requirement, no later than the closing date of the announcement. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit a quotation to the Government for consideration. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any contractor who believes they have the capability to meet the qualification may submit, for consideration by the government, a statement of capability which shall explicitly list the vendors equipment, knowledge, and past experience in fulfilling the requirement described herein. Comments are due by April 28, 2008, at 4 PM, CST. The posting of this announcement will remain for a period of no less than ten days. If no comments are received by the closing date, a purchase order will be issued to the above named sole source. Address any questions to Richard D.
