- Description
- Small Business Sources Sought. This is a Sources Sought announcement only seeking Small Business responses in order to determine Small Business participation in the acquisition for the U.S. Army Security assistance Training Management Organization (SATMO) and the Security Assistance Training Field Activity (SATFA). Services to be performed: The Contractor shall provide personnel with equivalent skills to train or technically assist U.S. Allies on any military subject, equipment, Doctrine or system at any level from basic rifle marksmanship to How to be a Minister of Defense. Training shall include the development or tailoring of training materials such off-the-shelf-training, modified course training, training and advisory assistance, and Foreign visitor accomodation services. The contractor personnel shall form or be a part of a U.S. Army team that deploys to the allied nation to perform the mission. Team skills and experience will normally start at the E-7 Sergeant First Class level, and will rarely exceed 06 Colonel. Trainees will generally range from Recruit to General Officer, and will normally complete groups from Squad to Brigade size. The typical performance period will last from two weeks to two years. Language skills are required for some missions. Skills will normally be Army related, but may include skills related to other services or joint operations. The designated NAICS Code is 611699, All other Miscellaneous Schools and Instruction, size standard is $6.5. Your response shall include the following information: size of company (i.e., 8(a), HUBZONE, WOSB, Veteran Owned, Small Disadvantaged Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, etc.), revenue for last three years, relevant past performance on same/similar work dating back 3 years and your companys capability to do this type of work. Documentation of technical expertise and capability must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition. It is imperative that business concerns responding to this sources sought articulate their capabilities clearly and adequately.
