Description
This announcement constitutes an official Sources Sought Notice for MARKET RESEARCH ONLY and shall not be construed as a Request for Proposal or an obligation on the part of the Government. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS EXIST AT THIS TIME. If a solicitation is issued it will be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. This notice is to assist the VA in determining sources only. Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), Small Disadvantaged Businesses (SDB), 8(a), Woman-Owned Small Businesses, and HUBZone Certified Businesses are encouraged to participate. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this Notice or otherwise pay for information requested. No entitlement of payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of submission of responses and Government use of information. This notice is seeking to identify interested SDVOBs, VOSBs, SDBs, WOSBs, 8(a) and HUBZone Certified Businesses with the capability and experience to furnish all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, transportation and qualified personnel to pick-up, transport, and dispose of all bio-hazardous medical waste, pathological waste, chemotherapy waste, and waste from Contractor-provided Sharps Containers in strict accordance with all Federal, State and Local Government laws and regulations. Business must be capable of providing services to Carl T Hayden VA Medical Center, Phoenix AZ; Northwest Extension Clinic, Sun City, AZ; and Southeast Extension Clinic, Mesa, AZ. Estimated monthly combined waste stream is 15,000 lbs Bio-Hazardous Waste; 500 lbs Chemotherapy Waste; 1,800 lbs Sharps Container Waste. The North American Industry Classification System Number (NAICS) for this service is 562112 and Business Size Standard is $11.5 Million. Interested parties are invited to respond by submitting a qualifications letter identifying your business as: 1) Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB); 2) Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB); 3) Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB); 4) 8(a); 5) HUBZone Small Business; 6) Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB); or 7) Small Business (SB).
