- Description
- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 6, Lakewood, Colorado is requesting proposals from qualified emerging small business firms capable of providing all labor, equipment, and materials to protect workers, service employees, and occupants of the building or area, or both, from exposure to lead during the life of the contract. The work required to lead-based paint removal must occur in accordance with the specifications, State of Colorado Regulations #19 Part A and B, EPA, OSHA, and any other applicable federal, state and local government regulations. Inspection has determined that approximately 845 square foot Quarters #4 building has a number of areas covered with lead-based paint that needs to be permanently removed and disposed of in a appropriate landfill as it has begun to peel and flake. These include two wooden exterior doors, the kitchen door jamb, door soffit and header, two wooden porch columns and exterior upper house trim. Work will be performed at the Arapaho National Wildlife Refuge, Jackson County, CO. The magnitude of the project is less than $25,000. Total performance time is 60 days. The NAICS code is 562910 and small business size standard is $13.0M. The solicitation, specifications can be obtained at www.fbo.gov once issued.
