- 66-SERVICES NON-PERSONAL, SERVICES necessary to accomplish REPAIR of Altitude Computer applicable to multiple aircraft. FA8103-08-R-0336, FD2030-08-01289. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS ARE APPLICABLE. The contractor shall provide all labor, facilities, equipment and ALL MATERIAL to accomplish repair, test, packing, preservation and packaging and return to the government in accordance with the work specifications contained in the contract, the items of Air Force Equipment listed below. A Firm Fixed Price Requirements type contract is contemplated for a Basic Year plus Four (4) One-Year Options. The items and Estimated Quantities are as follows: CLIN 0001: NSN 6610-01-255-1433, P/N 31103-A1A and/or NSN 6610-00-121-4679, P/N 33103A1; Noun: Altitude Computer; APPL: Multi. Acft; Estimated Qty: Basic - 16 ea, Opt I - 14 ea, Opt II - 8 ea, Opt III - 14 ea, Opt IV - 16ea. Requested Delivery is 4 ea every 3 mo ARO; 2 ea every 3 mo ARO; 2 ea every 3 mo ARO; 4 ea every 3 mo ARO; 4 ea every 3 mo ARO. CLIN 0002: NSN 6610-00-121-4680, P/N 31103B14; Noun: Altitude Computer; APPL: Multi. Acft; Estimated Qty: Basic: 5 ea, Opt I - 5ea, Opt II - 2 ea, Opt III - 1 ea, Opt IV - 3 ea. Requested delivery is 1 ea every 3 mo ARO; 1 ea every 3 mo ARO; 1 ea every 6 mo ARO; 1 ea every 12 mo ARO; 1 ea every 3 mo ARO. Item Dimensions: Length - 9.9 inch's nominal. Width 4.0 inch's nominal. Height 4.5 inch's nominal. Weight 6.00 pounds. Material content: Non-corrosive metal with internal electronic components. Description and Function of Item: Provides flight crew with corrected aircraft altitude data with remote altimeter autosyn and air traffic control radar beacon system binary outputs. CLIN 0003: DATA REPORTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH DD FORM 1423'S (CAV AF, TDR, MDCR). CLIN 0004: OVER AND ABOVE WORK AS REQUIRED. Ship To addresses will be provided when serviceable assets are ready to be shipped. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 6 May 2008. The solicitation response due date will be 5 Jun 2008. The anticipated award date will be 3 Jul 2008. Only qualified sources may apply. The following source has been approved for this acquisition: Otto Instrument Services (3LZS3). Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. Award may include options. No telephone request. Only written or faxed request received directly from the requestor are acceptable. ALL responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
