Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with the Boeing Company, of St. Loius, MO for the acquisition of seventy- four (74) pieces of Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE) for the F/A-18 E/fs that include but not limited to: aircraft maintanence and repair shop equipment, aircraft ground servicing equipment, test equipment, fixtures and tools for the Royal Australian Air Force to set-up O, I, and D level capability in Australia. A complete list of all items for this particular requirement is attached. This contract will be a delivery order under BOA N68335-06G-0024. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own current data, drawings, or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
