- Description
- DRY BLOOD CREEK DAM RECONSTRUCTION - The Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, equipment, supplies, and materials to reconstruct Dry Blood Creek Dam. Major items of work include: dewater reservoir and construction area; excavate dam embankment for removal of existing outlet works; construct small stock water reservoir east of main dam embankment; Salvage and abandon existing monitor wells; construct concrete encased, High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) outlet conduit; construct concrete intake with control sluice gate, precast concrete spillway tower, and gate pedestal structures; reconstruct dam embankment including upstream slope protection and internal chimney drain system; construct toe drain seepage collection system; construct gabion stilling basin and reclaim all disturbed areas including staging areas and temporary roads. Reclamation consists of preparation of the soil for seeding but does not include seeding. Seeding will be completed by others. The work is located in Petroleum County, MT. This requirement is open to both large and small businesses under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The estimated price range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The anticipated period of performance is 306 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Bonds will be required as follows: Bid Guarantee - 20% of the bid price, Payment and Performance bonds - 100% of the contract price. The solicitation will be available by electronic posting only and may be found at www.fedbizopps.gov. Bidders will be required to print the bidding documents for submission of their bids. The solicitation documents will be posted on or about May 6, 2008. Contractors are required to register or update their registration at the Central Contractor Registration website at www.ccr.gov in order to receive a contract award under this solicitation, and register or update their registration at the Online Representation and Certification Application website at http://orca.bpn.gov.
