Description: Presolicitation Notice for Artificial Limbs and Related Services: This procurement is 100% set-aside for Small Business. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 339113, size standard of 500 Employees shall apply. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has an ongoing program to furnish Artificial Limbs and Related Services to those veterans that require them and are eligible for assistance. It is VA's intentions to solicit proposals and award multiple contracts to preferred providers within the Carl T Hayden VA Medical Center's jurisdiction under the authority of Title 38 U.S.C. Section 8123. Contract period is June 1, 2008 to May 31, 2009, with four (4) Option Periods extending the contract annually until May 31, 2013, if exercised by the Government. The solicitation will be available on www.fbo.gov with a tentative posting date of April 30, 2008 with offers being due May 16, 2008.
