- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, FM3047 7248-7400, is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-09. This procurement will be full and open competed for a brand name or equal items. The NAICS code is 339112 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The following commercial items are requested in this solicitation; 2 ea. Trima Accel Automated Blood Collection System, Version 5 which includes on each system: a) 1 ea Trima Collection System Version 5 PN 81000, b) 1 ea Trima Version Configuration kit PN 810006, c) 1 ea. Operation Manual PN 704-211-001, and d) 1 ea Trima Seal Safe System PN 71251. Item should be shipped within 30 Days ADC, FOB: Destination for delivery to, LACKLAND AFB, TX 78236. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-2 Quotes will be evaluated and awarded to the offeror based on technical acceptability and the lowest price. The provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, and the offeror must include a completed copy of this provision with their proposal. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; FAR 52.211-17, Delivery of Excess Quantities; FAR 52.219-6, Small Business Set Aside; FAR 52.233-3, Protest After Award; FAR 52.252-2, Clauses Incorporated by Reference. The Government reserves the right to award on a multiple award or an all or none basis.
