- Description
- The Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS intends to issue a sole source award to Webb Research Corporation, East Falmouth, MA under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The requirement is for 27 each Air Deployable (including parachute) Profiling Floats AND 10 each Ship Deployable (excluding parachute) Profiling Floats Providing Temperature and Salinity Data in accordance with the Salient Characteristics. The anticipated contract value is $656,000.00. This action is unrestricted and will be conducted orally in accordance with FAR 12 and FAR 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. NAICS 334511 with business size of 750 employees applies. A firm fixed-price purchase order is anticipated. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive offers. Any inquiries concerning this requirement are to be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See Note 22.
