Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award to a responsible quoter for the provision of Non-Specific Faith Spiritual Leader at the Federal Correctional Complex-Petersburg located in Hopewell, Virginia, 23860. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 813110 (Size Standard: $6.5 million). The contractor shall provide social values and responsibilities instruction and counseling in conjunction with the Residential Life Connections Program. The contractors performance shall be monitored by the COTR and the contractor must have the ability to work with an inmate population from a variety of cultural, regional, racial and ethnic backgrounds. The Government will furnish all supplies and materials needed to perform the services. The contractor shall at a minimum have three years of continuous full-time experience as a social values and responsibilities instructor, and possess a Bachelor of Arts degree from an accredited college or university with a major in religious studies, religious education, or a related curriculum. It is estimated that the Non-Specific Faith Spiritual Leader will be required to perform 1144 one (1) hour sessions per year. A session is defined as one (1) hour. The contract period will consist of a 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods for renewal. The solicitation will be available on or about April 23, 2008, and will be distributed solely through the website at ww.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation amendments will be distributed through the website. The anticipated due date for receipt of quotes is April 12, 2008. The solicitation is unrestricted. All responsible business sources may submit a quotation which will be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contract for which they are eligible. Please note: All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov.
