- Description
- SPAWARSYSCEN Charleston intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) forthe procurement of a Fiber Optic Intersite System to replace the current FOISAN/FAC-6(V)4 Communications System using the latest available technology tomeet system requirements as defined in the Statement of Work and procure astandard fiber optic interface system that can remote ATC operator positions.Commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) products shall be used for both productsolutions and be capable of parts replacement and repair by site maintenancepersonnel for a planned life-cycle of 10 years. The Government anticipates award of an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity,Firm-Fixed-Price, Performance-Based type contract. The FSC Code is J070. TheNAICS Code is 541512 with a size standard of $23M. NOTE: There is no incumbent for this solicitation.
