Description
This is a sources sought request for written information only. This is not a solicitation announcement for quotations, proposals or bids, and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and/or any follow-up information requests. No telephone calls requesting a solicitation will be accepted or acknowledged. There is no solicitation available at this time. Standard company brochures are not desired. Information shall focus on the capability to provide the needed services below: Immigration and Customs Enforcement Office of Investigations, seeks information regarding the ability to provide maintenance on the department's Laser Ablation Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometer, model X7 ICP/MS Quadrupole, manufactured by Thermo Electron Scientific Instruments. Maintenance support plan is to include the following: -unlimited on-site service with 72hr response time -one scheduled preventative maintenance visit -priority technical support, response within 90 minutes -factory certified replacement parts included -Thermo Electron supplied PC and water re-circulator coverage included -software updates and notifications All services are to be performed at the Office of Investigations Forensic Document Laboratory located at 8000 West Park Drive, McLean, VA 22102. The approximated timeframe for support would be from April, 2008 through March, 2009, to have the potential for extension through order options.
