- Description
- The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for non-personal technical and support services necessary to support the mission of the Hydrological Instrumentation Facility at Stennis Space Center, MS. This announcement is for a Request for Proposals (RFP) 08ERQQ0111. Details the RFP and attachments may be viewed on the Department of Interior Business Opportunities website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. A preproposal conference will be conducted on May 1, 2008 at 10:00 am central time at the location listed below to discuss the Government's requirement, conduct a tour of the facilities and answer questions about this solicitation. US Geological Survey, Hydrological Instrumentation FacilityBuilding 2101Stennis Space Center, MS 39529 Offerors planning to attend the conference should notify Laura Knight, phone 228-688-1535 or lknight@usgs.gov at least one business day in advance of the conference. If the offeror has questions regarding the solicitation, it is requested that they be submitted in writing in advance so that answers can be prepared and provided at the conference. It is anticipated that the resulting contract of the final RFP will consist of a one-year base period with four one-year option periods and the resulting contract will be a firm fixed price award. The anticipated start date is July 1, 2008. This requirement is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set a-side under NAICS code 541614. The government intent is to make a single award on the basis of best value trade off. The solicitation, all related documents and amendments, if any, will only be released and available electronically through the NBC posting system at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. As such, no written, telephonic, facsimile or email requests for the solicitation package will be honored. Since this solicitation will only be available electronically, it is solely the responsibility of interested parties to monitor the NBC website for any solicitation amendments. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit an offer. See numbered note 29.
