- This is a preaward synopsis for the purchase of propulsion sustainment spares (various components). This is a sole source acquisition, due to unique supplies or services available from only one source or only one supplier with unique capabilities, under authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), to GE Aviation Systems LLC (DBA Dowty Propellors), CAGE 93366. The synopsis and solicitation will be combined. DESCRIPTION: Propulsion sustainment spares applicable to the C-130J aircraft. The response date is 21 May 08. An estimated award date is 11 Jun 08. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified below for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. Note 22 applies.
