- The Naval Inventory Control Point is contemplating award for an unpriced monetary limitation repair purchase order. This purchase order will be for the repair of 26 H-46 aircraft compents. The components are as follows:1) NIIN 015285130, INDICATOR, HEADING). The estimated award amount for this purchase order is $98,020.00 l-3 Communications(63516)in Alpharetta, GA is the Original Equipment Manufacturer and the only known source to possess full repair capability. Complete data, drawings and the rights to the same are not available from the government. The subject items require government source approval prior to contract award, as the items are considered flight critical and the technical data package is not available. Only the source(s) previously approved by the government for this item have been solicited. The time required approval for a new source is normally such that an award can not be delayed pending approval of a new source.
