- Contractor to provide all tools, materials, equipment and labor necessary for completion of general construction project no. 636A8-08-817 "Digital RF Site Prep" at the DVA Medical Center, Hwy 6 West, Iowa City, Iowa, in accordance with the drawings and specifications. Work will involve one radiology room, approximately 330 sq ft and includes demolition and alterations to walls, ceilings and floors, general construction, mechanical, electrical and plumbing work, and certain other items. Cost range is within $25,000 and $100,000. NAICS code 236220, size standard $31 million. This procurement is 100% set aside for SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED BUSINESS. Electronic solicitation documents to include Invitation for Bid, Contract Forms, specifications, and drawings will be made available in electronic format only through the VA's website at: https://www.fbo.gov. Solicitation material will also be provided to the following sources where hard copies may be reviewed or obtained for a fee: Construction Update Plan Room, 5850 6th St., SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404. It is recommended that you complete the solicitation mailing list on the website before downloading the solicitation. Any amendments issued to this solicitation and bidder's mailing list will only be available on the website. Contractors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining all amendments. The solicitation will be available on about May 6, 2008. Bid opening date will be on about June 5, 2008, at 2:00 P.M., local time.
