Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Bids will be accepted on an all or none basis. The solicitation number is F3ZT868095A001; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-24 and Defense DCN 20080331. This acquisition will be a 100% small business set-aside; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238990. The business size standard is $13,000,000. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is W099. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 7353. This request for quotation consists of the following items: Crane (1 Ea) with operator, able to lift 50,000 lbs platforms containing large construction equipment (approximately 30’L x 12’W x 12’ H) 10’ onto a K-loader. Crane height must be below 50ft. Required hours of operation: 16 hrs a day (two 8 hour shifts) 14-19 Jul. The schedule is as follows: Monday, 14 Jul 0800-2359 Tuesday, 15 Jul 0800-2359 Wednesday, 16 Jul 0800-2359 Thursday, 17 Jul 0800-2359 Friday, 18 Jul 0800-2359 Saturday, 19 Jul 0001-1600 Line Item 0001: Dayshift use of crane Line Item 0002: Nightshift use of the crane (hours above) Line Item 0003: Weekend use of crane Line Item 0004: Highway Permit (one-time fee) Line Item 0005: Fuel Surcharge (7% on hourly rates) (Include separate rate for night time / weekend shift if applicable) The riggers required to connect the load to the crane’s hook will be provided by the government.
