- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District is soliciting offers under Request for Quotation (RFQ) No. W912BU-08-T-0041 for 5,000 gallons of Lube Oil (40HDX/MIL 2104- 40W engine oil to the hopper Dredge MCFARLAND, located in the State of Mississippi, Gulfport Mississippi State Dock, Authority at Gulfport, Mississippi 30502. Lube Oil is to be delivered on 8 May 2008 at approx. 0700 am. Delivery is required by tank truck, Approximately 150 feet of hose will be needed to make the connections from the tanker truck to the ships connection. Truck will have access to pier, along side the ship. This action will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. RFQ No. W912BU-08-T-0041 will be available on or about 25 April 2008. Solicitation documents, plans and specifications will only be available via the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) homepage-https://www.fbo.gov. Interested offerors must register with FBO before accessing the system.Offers will be due on 30 April 2008 at 4:00 pm eastern time and may be faxed to (215) 656-6780. Quotes should include pricing and certifications and representations. Offerors are responsible for printing paper copies of the RFQ. This procurement is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business. The North Atlantic Industrial Classification (NAIC) for this procurement is 424720 with a size standard of $100 Million. Affirmative action to ensure equal employment opportunity is applicable to the resulting contract. No other notification to firms for this project will be made. All contractors must be registered in the DODs Central Contractor Register (CCR) before award as required by DFARS 204-7300.
