Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item (IRadimed Volumetric IV Infusion Pump) prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number RFP VA248-08-RP-0266 is issued as a request for proposal and incorporates provisions and clauses that is in effect through FAC 2005-24. The NAICS code applicable to this acquisition is 339112. VAMC Gainesville, Radiology has a requirement for an IRidium MRI Infusion Pump for use in the MRI. Specifications: approved for use with 0.2T to 3.0T magnets. Non Magnetic Linear Peristaltic Infusion Pump designed for use in the MRI environment. Features: Dose Rate Calculator, Bolus Dose Programming, Secondary Drug Delivery, Syringe Delivery, Adjustable Occlusion, Pressure, KVO, and ALARM Settings, CQI Data Ability w/Tracking Software Which Records up to 5000 Entries, Integrated Set and Pump Based Free Flow Protection, Flow Rates from 1-999ml's per Hour, Large Programming Screen, 12 Hour Battery Life, Expansion to Second Pump Channel with Optional 'Side Car' Module, Ability to Charge While Plugged in During Scans. System includes the following: (1) Qty 2 each of the MRidium IV Infusion Pump, Part Number: MI3850; (2) Qty 2 each of the Mridium Side Car B Channel, Part Number MI3851; (3) One year full warranty parts and labor and one (1) year extended parts and labor for Sidecar 3851. Quoted price should include Freight and Handling. Delivery to the VAMC Gainesville, Florida 32608 and delivery by May 30, 2008. The government anticipates award of a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the specifications will be most advantageous to the Government. Award will be based on price and the technical capability to meet the requirements of system. PAYMENT: Any award made under this solicitation is subject to 31 CFR Part 208 which requires all payments made by the government to be made by electronic funds transfer. This solicitation incorporates the following FAR clauses, provisions and addendums: 52.204-7 Central Contractor Registration; 52-212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Item; 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items; 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items. In paragraph B of 52.212-5, the following apply: 52.219-6 Notice of Total Small Business Set Aside and 52.225.13 Restrictions on Certain Foreign Purchases. Also applicable are 52.232-33 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registration and 52.233-4 Applicable Law for Breach of Contract.
