Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Omaha, NE, VISN 23, is planning a sole source procurement with Medtronic PaceArt, 4265 Lexington Avenue North, Arden Hills, MN 55126 for PaceArt Clinic Software, Paceart HL7 Integration Module, Paceart ECG Module, Isolation Transformer, 2 days on-site installation, Inbound and Outbound Consultation. This system will allow paper pacemaker charts to become electronic records. This system is usable by all pacemaker companies and has a searchable database for all models/devices. This equipment is being specifically requested to facilitate in the standardization of care throughout the VA Medical Centers VISN (Veterans Integrated Service Network) 23 area. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 334510 with a standard size of 500 employees. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 5 calendar days after publication of this synopsis. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by submitting literature, detailing how their products/services meet VA requirements, to the Contracting Officer or by fax 402-449-0612. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
