- Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (Rental of Refrigerated Trailer w/ generator) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). RFQ # M67399-08-Q-0026 The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-24. This is a restricted purchase, entirely set-aside for small businesses concerns. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 532412. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) for this order is 7359. The small business size standard is $6.5 Million. The Defense Priorities and Allocation System (DPAS) rating for this order is DO-C9.The Federal Supply Classification (FSC) for this order is W085. This is for rental of refrigerated trailer with generators for the Mojave Viper Messhall. The equipment will be leased from May 07, 2008 to September 30, 2008. Items will be delivered to and operated on Camp Wilson Mess Hall aboard Marine Air Ground Task Force Training Command, Twentynine Palms, CA. The following details the quantity and name of the requirement: CLIN 0001- Qty: (5) Rental of Refrigerated Trailer w/ generators with a height of at least 48CLIN 0002- Qty: (5) Rental of Steps that lead up to Refrigerated Trailer Place of contract delivery will be Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC)/Marine Corps Air Ground Task Force Training Command (MCAGTFTC) Twentynine Palms, CA. 92278 The Following Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation provisions and clauses are applicable to this acquisition. Basis of Evaluation and Award: The Government intends to award a contract resultiong from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factor considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Price,Technical capabilities and Past Performance. Quotations will be evaluated in an efficient and minimally burdensome fashion, and quotes may be comparatively evaluated pursuant to FAR 13.106-2(b). The Contracting Officer will reject offers that do not meet all the material terms and conditions set forth in the solicitation. Further, unreasonably high prices will be rejected and unrealistically low prices will be considered as evidence of the Offerors lack of understanding of the requirement.The Government intends to select the vendor(s) whose quote(s) is (are) considered most advantageous and check their past performance information, then select one vendor with whom to negotiate details.
