Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Solicitation No. FE230072700634, is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-15. The associated NAICS Code is 334119. IF INTERESTED IN SUBMITTING A QUOTE, PLEASE SEND AN E-MAIL TO: Sue.Quillen@wpafb.af.mil and I will e-mail the SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE MAUS V UPGRADE This RFQ has one line item: MOBILE AUTOMATED ULTRASONIC SCANNER (MAUS) V Upgrade. (from MAUS IV Scanner) (this system is intended to support the capability of AFRL/RXSA, Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson AFB, OH, to provide large area inspection system to customers. This system will be used for the inspection of both metallic and composite materials and structures. Typical components of inerest include composite laminatges, composite and/or metallic sandwich structure, and single and multi-layer metallic structure. Defects of interest include disbonds, delaminations, cracks, and corrosion).
