Description
U.S. GOVERNMENT WANTS TO LEASE OFFICE SPACE IN FARMINGTON HILLS, MICHIGAN The United States Government is seeking to lease office space consisting of approximately 12,985 square feet of rentable space in Farmington Hills, Michigan. The space requirement can be satisfied with space in an existing building or through new construction. Rentable space must yield a minimum of 10,265 to a maximum of 11,291 ANSI/BOMA useable square feet available for use by the Government for personnel, furnishings and equipment. The proposed lease is for 10 years firm and should be full serviced. Offered properties must be located within the following delineated area: NORTH:13 Mile Road SOUTH:Shiawassee Road EAST:Middlebelt Road WEST:Halsted Road The Government reserves the right to change the boundaries, reduce the square footage, or cancel any procurement. The following is required: A minimum of fifty-five (55) on-site parking spaces for employees and visitors (including handicapped spaces) must be provided. Parking must be available during normal agency hours of operation (Monday – Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.). Space must be contiguous and on the ground floor, fully serviced, and altered to meet the Federal Government's standards for Fire Safety and Handicapped Accessibility. Space must have the potential for efficient layout; columns must be at least 20 ft. apart center to center and 20 feet from any interior wall and be no more than two foot square; space should not be “U” or “L” shaped or exceed a length to width ratio of 2:1. A setback of 20 feet is required when new construction is proposed. Desired occupancy date is February 1, 2010. If you desire to list space for consideration, please forward the below information by – May 9, 2008 making reference to Solicitation for Offers (SFO) No. GS 05B 18096. 1)Building name and address. For unimproved sites provide specific location. 2)One-eighth inch scale drawing of space offered. For unimproved sites provide site plan and location map. 3) Square footage offered. For unimproved sites provide total available acreage and proposed acreage. 4) Method of measurement used to determine rentable square feet. 5) Name, address, and telephone number of individual to be contacted 6) Evidence of authority to represent the owner. In no event shall the offer enter into negotiations or discussions concerning the space to be leased with representatives of any Federal Agency other than the officers and employees of General Services Administration (GSA) or their authorized representative.
