- Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor, material, and perform work for Project 538-08-104, entitled Roof Repairs, Building 35 and Project 538-08-119, entitled Roof and Gutter Repairs, Building 212 at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Chillicothe, Ohio, as required by the drawings and specifications. Work to be accomplished within 210 calendars days after Notice to Proceed. Plans and specifications will be on FebBizzOpps website on or about May 9, 2008. Hard copies of specification and drawings will be available upon written request to the Contracting Officer; requests may be faxed to 740-772-7008. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. Any questions regarding this notice must be submitted in writing to Laura.Cozad@va.gov or faxed to 740-772-7008. Estimated cost range is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. A pre-bid conference and site visit will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at 10:00 am (local time) at the DVA Medical Center, Building 1, Room 121, 17273 State Route 104, Chillicothe, Ohio. All prospective contractors, subcontractors and suppliers are encouraged to attend. This solicitation is 100% Set-Aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business contractors. NAICS 238160.
