- Description
- The US Army Joint Munitions and Lethality Life Cycle Management Command (JM&L LCMC), Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000 is conducting a market survey to seek potential sources for the purchase of a punch and die tooling set equipped with ultrasonic sensors for the pressing of M430 grenades. The contractor shall perform modeling and simulation to determine the optimum locations for the ultrasonic sensors that will produce the highest quality signal and will withstand the forces during the pressing operation. The tooling shall be machined in accordance with drawings provided by the US Army and the contractor will modify the drawings with the results from the ultrasonic modeling and simulation and then produce the tooling. The Drawing falls under Distribution D, which limits distribution to the Department of Defense and their Contractors. In order to receive this Drawing, Contractors must submit a request to obtain DD Form 2345, Military Critical Technical Agreement and AMSTA-AR Form 1350, Technical Data Request Questionnaire. Interested parties should request a copy of the forms and submit the request to point of contact shown below. These forms will be reviewed and evaluated prior to the release of the drawing. Interested firms who feel that they are capable of supplying this type of tooling are invited to indicate their interest by providing specifications, brochures, and/or drawings within 15 days of this notice to: Commander, US Army, Joint Munitions & Lethality LCMC Acquisition Center, ATTN: AMSML-AQ-MA, Mr. Donald Gurry Bldg. 10, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000 or submit the information electronically to donald.gurry@us.army.mil. This announcement does not constitute an invitation for bids or a request for proposal. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION AND DOES NOT OBLIGATE THE GOVERNMENT TO ISSUE A SOLICITATION.
