Description

The USCG Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement for the following: 1) NSN 3120-01-046-8511, BEARING, SLEEVE MARINE PROPULSION SHAFT BEARING, LONGITUDINALLY SPLIT ON TAPER, FLANGED. INTERNALLY MOLDED RUBBER STAVE FORMS. BODY MATERIAL: NAVAL BRASS. STAVE MATERIAL: RUBBER COMPOSITION. FOR 6” SHAFT SIZE. BODY DIAMETER: 7 7/8”. OVERALL LENGTH: 15”. FLANGE DIAMETER: 12 1/4”. FLANGE THICKNESS: 9/16”. 8 EQUALLY SPACED BOLT HOLES AT 45 DEGREES BEGINNING 22 1/2 DEGREES OFF SPLIT. BOLT CIRCLE: 10 3/4”. HOLE SIZE: 11/16”. POLIT BOSS ON FLANGE END IN ACCORDANCE WITH ATTACHED DETAIL. EACH BEARING MUST BE INDIVIDUALLY PACKAGED IN WOODEN BOXES, MARKED, AND BARCODED. FOB Destination delivery to USCG Engineering Logistics Center, Baltimore, MD 21226-5000. QUANTITY: 4 EACH Note: Inspection at contractor’s plant by USCG/ELC Personnel will be required to inspect the dimensional conformance/conformance or wooden box. The contractor shall notify the USCG contract administrator 10 calendar days prior to QA inspection. Please indicate location of plant in your quote. This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the FAR, FAC 2005-24 and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Quotation shall include, proposed delivery in days, pricing for item(s) individually preserved, boxed, marked and bar-coded, the company Tax Information Number and DUNS Number. (Note: Packing & Marking instructions are available upon request please contact Mr. Ervin) All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which, if timely received, shall be considered by this agency.
