Description
THIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Mid-Atlantic PWD PA will use the responses to this sources sought to make an acquisition decision whether to solicit this project as a competitive Service Disabled Veteran Owned, 8A, Hub Zone, Small Business set-aside or Unrestricted. This market research tool is being used to determine potential and eligible small business firms capable of providing the services described herein prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of a Request for Proposal. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this synopsis. REQUIREMENTS: The purpose of this announcement is to identify sources that have past performance, relevant corporate experience and the capability and capacity to provide all management, labor, material, equipment and supervision to perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and inspections on Condenser Water Cooling Systems in various buildings at The Navy Yard, S Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA. A combination of firm-fixed price and indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity services will be required. Both scheduled and emergency services will be necessary. The NAICS for this requirement is 238220 with a size standard of $13.0M. All small businesses are encouraged to respond. The contemplated procurement will have a performance period of sixty (60) months. SUBMITTAL INFORMATION: It is requested that interested small businesses submit to the contracting office a brief capabilities statement package (no more than 5 pages in length, single spaced, 12 point font minimum) demonstrating ability to perform the services listed above. Brochures relative to the services may be submitted. All responses must include the following information: Company Name; Company Address; Company Business Size; and Point-of-Contact (POC) name, phone number, fax number, and e-mail address. The capability statement package may be sent by mail to contracts, Karen Van Giesen, NAVFAC-MIDLANT, PWD PA, Building 1, 4921 S. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19112, or by email to karen.vangiesen@navy.mil. Submissions must be received at the office cited no later than 3:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time on 12 May 2008.
