- Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport is contemplating award of a sole source contract to ILC Dover Inc., 1 Moonwalker RD, Frederica, DE 19946, for the following non-commercial supply: Buoyancy Bags in accordance with Drawing 5816554, all associated drawings, and vendor Part Number 0047-17893. This requirement is for CLIN 0001: Base Year Production Units, CLIN 0002: Option Year 1 Production Units, CLIN 0003: Option Year 2 Production Units, CLIN 0004: Option Year 3 Production Units, and CLIN 0005: Option Year 4 Production Units. The solicitation number for this procurement when issued will be N00253-08-R-0018. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 334513. Drawings Referenced in this Solicitation are restricted by the Arms Export Control Act and are ONLY available to vendors/contractors appointed data custodian that are registered with DLIS (Defense Logistics Info Svc Joint Certification Program (JCP). Vendors/Contractors that are not registered with DLIS JCP can obtain registration information at www.dlis.dla.mil/jcp/. Restricted Drawings and Technical Information are available through FedBizzops as an attachment to this solicitation. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be available for download on or around 09 May 2008. The closing date of the solicitation will be 09 June 2008, unless a later date is specified in the solicitation. The RFP will be posted and available for download at FedBizopps, web link https://www.fbo.gov/. Offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFP from this website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFP. A bidders list will not be maintained by this office, no telephone or fax requests for the RFP package will be accepted. An email request to michael.yourkoski@navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFQ from the NECO website. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your offer nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by closing time and date specified in the solicitation will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.The following numbered notes apply; 8 and 26.
