- Sources Sought Synopsis for LSI-2000 Interrogator Repair Services The Government is performing market research on potential repair sources for NSN: 5840-01-522-1613QX, P/N: LSI-2000 INTERROGATOR. This component system is used on the Radar Interrogator System (RIS) modification that supports the Atmospheric Early Warning System (AEWS), AN/FPS-117. This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a sources sought synopsis only. This notification is for market research purposes to identify potential contractors who have the skills, experience, and knowledge required to successfully complete this repair effort for Hill Air Force Base, Utah. To be considered as a potential repair source for this requirement, a Contractor will be required to submit technical data, in response to a solicitation, verifying their capabilities to analyze these items. The Contractor will be required to verify capabilities to determine corrective action, and to restore items as serviceable assets. The Contractor will be required to verify to the Government that the items are repaired, and each step is documented to provide asset tracking, and to provide subassembly and component failure information to the Government. The Government does not possess the technical data or test equipment to provide to potential sources. Litton Systems, DBA: Northrop Grumman Navigational Systems Division, Woodland Hills, CA, is the Original Equipment Manufacturer and only known source. Specific information sought includes: 1. Company name and address. 2. Repair capability statement. 3. Point of contact, telephone, and e-mail address. Information should be submitted via e-mail to Robert.biscardi@hill.af.mil and shall include "LSI-2000 Interrogator Repair Source" in the subject line. Respondents to this request will be retained in a file and subsequently provided a copy of the Request for Proposal/Quote (RFP/Q) posted to FedBizOpps. This Sources Sought Synopsis is for information and planning purposes and it does not constitute a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, that a procurement will be accomplished. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposal and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests.
