- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional informationincluded in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation;proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.The solicitation/request for proposal (RFP) number is N40083-08-R-3000 andcloses 28 May 2008. This procurement is set-aside 100% for small business. Theresulting award will be a combined Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) and Indefinite DeliverIndefinite Quantity (IDIQ) competitive source selection pest control servicecontract requiring both price and technical proposals. All prospective offerorsmust register on the US Navy internet website www.neco.navy.mil and www.fbo.gov.Any amendments will be posted at the NECO website for downloading. Theestimated cost of the entire project is in the range of $500,000 to $1,000,000. The NAICS code is 561710; size standard is$6.5M. Federal Supply Class/Service (FSC/SVC) Code is S207. Naval Station,Great Lakes, IL is announcing a requirement for the following: Provide pestcontrol services at Naval Station, Great Lakes, Illinois in accordance with theattached performance work statement. Firms submitting technical and priceproposals will not be re-imbursed for the documents. The Government reservesthe right to reject any or all proposals at any time, to negotiate with any orall offerors, to award the contract to other than the offeror submitting thelowest price, and to award to the offeror submitting the proposal determined bythe Government to be most advantageous to the Government.
