- Description
- Furnish labor, equipment, supplies, and materials, to construct eleven (11) pits in Carter County. Bid schedule items are as follows: 1) Mobilization, 1 ea; 2) Common Excavation, 43,110 cy; 3) Embankment, Semicompacted, 700 CY. This is set aside for Small Business Concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 237110. The Small business size standard is $31.0 million. Work under this contract is located in Carter County, Montana. The contractor will have seventy three (73) calander days after Notice to Proceed is issued to complete the project. The work will start on/about July 7,2008. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. A 100 percent payment protection will be required for contracts greater than $30,000. Payment Protection must be submitted within 10 days of Notice of Award and can be submitted by an Irrevocable Letter of Credit, Certificate of Deposit, or Payment Bond. Prospective contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Information on CCR registration can be obtained via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Contractors must register their Annual Representations and Certifications (ORCA) online at http://orca.bpn.gov. The solicitation will be posted during the week of May 12, 2008. No hard copies of the solicitation will be sent out by this office and will be available at "http://ideasec.nbc.gov". Response date for quotes will be on/about June 12, 2008. The exact closing date will be posted in the RFQ. Information regarding a Site Tour will be posted in the solicitation.
