- Description
- The VA Network 22 Logistics Office, intends to negotiate a commercial (FAR Part 12) sole source contract with Edward Bio-Rad Laboratories, under 6.302-1, for the delivery of the Bio-Rad Variant II System, consumable supplies. The solicitation document incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Circular (FAC) 2005-24. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A justification for other than full and open competition is being prepared in support of this acquisition. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed contract for a base year, with the Government's option to exercise four one (1) year option periods. The delivery location is at the San Diego Healthcare System. The Solicitation shall be issued on or about May 12, 2008 with offeror's due on or about May 23, 2008. This notice is not a request for competitive proposal. The NAICS is 421450.
