- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs New Jersey Health Care System (NJHCS) has a requirement for Associate Director Services for the War Related Illness and Injury Study Center (WRIISC) at the VA New Jersey Healthcare System in East Orange, New Jersey (EOVA). The candidate must possess a Medical Degree or Osteopathy (D.O.) degree, must be Board certified by the American Board of Preventive Medicine in one of the following areas occupational medicine, general preventive medicine and public health, or aerospace medicine. Additionally the candidate must have completed medicine residency in one of the following areas occupational medicine, general preventive medicine and public health, or aerospace medicine. Additional qualifications are noted within RFP. Services are to be provided at Department of Veterans Affairs New Jersey Healthcare East Orange campus. It is anticipated that one firm-fixed price, best value contract will be awarded for the period of July 1, 2008 through September 30, 2008 with four one-year options to renew, subject to the Government's discretion and subject to availability of funds. This procurement is being conducted under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition procedures. This procurement is unrestricted. The applicable NAICS code is 621111 with size standard $9.0M. The solicitation will be available on or about April 29, 2008 with responses due on May 30, 2008 by 3:00p.m. E.D.T.
