- Description
- Digital Camera: Digital Camera Physical Characteristics: The camera should not weigh more than one pound.. The camera shall have a 3 diagonal view screen with adjustable brightness levels for use as an underwater viewfinder. The screen shall have a minimum 230,000 pixel display. Digital Camera Technology Characteristics: Image stabilizing technology shall be attained from the camera technology or through special lenses that may be used on the camera. The camera will have a playback feature that will display the camera settings in the view screen. The camera should have an 8.2 mega pixel. The camera should have a 10X zoom capability. The camera should be capable of both manual and auto focus. Camera technology or lenses will be able to capture images in extremely low and high light. Information Storage: The picture memory should have enough internal memory to store 30 pictures in a JPEG format. In addition the camera should be able to store pictures on a removable compact flash card. Power Supply: The cameras batteries shall be rechargeable for 100 complete cycles. The battery shall be able to operate the camera and flash for 90 minutes while using the view screen as the viewfinder. The camera shall be able to operate off of one battery that will be capable of running both the camera and video camera. Waterproof Digital Camera Case: The waterproof case shall not weigh more than five pounds with the camera installed and its weight shall be neutral in water. The camera case shall be waterproof to a depth of 200 feet of seawater. The view screen of the camera will be seen through the case while the camera is in use underwater. The waterproof case shall be able to operate all buttons/features of any installed camera with a 3 mil wetsuit gloved hand. The waterproof case shall be able to attach and have camera control of external flash/lighting. Digital Camera Carrying Case: The carrying case shall be able to be carried by one person without mechanical equipment. The case shall be waterproof and airtight. The case shall be able to be secured with padlocks. The case interior shall have padded compartments to fit and protect all items in the case. Information Storage: The video camera shall record directly to a DVD format and shall be able to be downloaded to a computer using USB connections. Power Supply: The cameras batteries shall be rechargeable for 100 complete cycles. The battery shall be able to operate the camera and flash for 90 minutes while using the view screen as the viewfinder.
