- Description
- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the NSWC Division Crane. The Government intends to award a fixed price purchase order for the following items: 8 each Frequency Synthesizer 10.2-13.8 GHZ and 8 each Frequency Synthesizer 13.4 18.1 GHZ. Both items to be in accordance with attached specifications. Inspection/acceptance shall be at destination by NSWC Crane personnel. Transportation shall be FOB destination Crane, IN. The required delivery date shall be 12 weeks from date of award of purchase order. This procurement is not for commercial items and FAR Part 12 procedures will not be used. The applicable NAICS Classification is 334519 and the size standard is 500. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business. The Navy intends to solicit and negotiate this contract on a full and open competition basis. The solicitation will be issued on or about 05 May 2008 and will close on or about 09 May 2008. This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the procedures at FAR 13. Synopsis exception FAR 5.202(a)) (13) applies and Solicitation Number N00164-08-T-1000 http://www.crane.navy.mil/supply/synopcom.htm will be issued as an attachment hereto. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to Crane web site, FedBizOpps and NECO. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor the Crane web site, FedBizOpps and/or NECO for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
