Description
This information is for solicitation(SPM1C1-08-Q-0287). This is for the purchase of COLLAR, MAN’S COAT, POLY/WOOL GARBARDINE, 1-3/4 INCH WIDTH DARK BLUE MC SHADE 2312. The applicable NIIN for this procurement is 8315-01-280-0153(s). The military specificatioin is MIL-C-23486B dated 2 June 1989, pattern dated June 5, 1989. The purchase quantity is 3,975 each. The first delivery is due 120 days after the dated of award. The destination for this item is to a depot in New Cumberland, PA. The solicitation will be issued as a Total Small Business Set-Side that will result in a firm fixed price contract. All materials used in the fabrication of the end item will be furnished by the Government (GFM). The NIINS for the cloths are 8305-01-248-6805 and 8305-01- 209-6542. The storage facilities for the cloths are in two depots; Albany, GA./Lansing, MI The Government does not intend to use FAR part 12 for this acquisition. Reference Numbered Notes 1, 9, and 26. Generally, Clothing and Textile items (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012) and “special metals” (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-70 14), including the materials and components Thereof (other than sensors, electronics, or other items added to, and not not normally associated with clothing), must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United states, its possessions or Pueto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.700-2 exceptions applies.
