Description

The contractor shall provide all all labor, materials, management, tools and equipment necessary to repair office interior doors and locks, replace ceiling tile and suspension grid, replace vinyl base, vinyl composition tile, stair tread and flourescent light fixtures in the Horace B Hansen USARC, 1400 Golden Acorn Dr, Birmingham AL 35244. This project is to be executed in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. The period of performance is ninety days after Notice of Proceed. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The resultant award shall be a Firm Fixed Price construction contract. The NAICS code, SIC code and size standard for this procurement are 238390, 1799 and $13M. Pursuant to FAR 19.1007, this acquisition is issued unrestricted. All firms are deemed eligible to submit bids. Only one award shall be made. To be eligible for award, offerors must have a current, valid registration with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) at www.ccr.gov. The solicitation package will be available via the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi on or about May 15, 2008. All amendments to the solicitation will be posted on the ASFI website. Interested companies are advised to check the website periodically for amendments. A bid opening date has not been established at this time but will be annotated in the final released Invitation for Bid.
